“False Memory “
The story is great and well written. OK, it’s a tad long and you will find the usual metaphors that sometimes work and also sometimes simply distract or annoy. The concept behind the story works perfectly. Martie Rhodes is a prosperous gaming designer hitched to a fine person called Dusty. Her closest friend Susan suffers from agoraphobia and stays locked up in her house daily. She depends on Martie to take her to her once a week therapy sessions.
Dean Koontz provides a shining personality to each character while mercilessly subjecting them to the maze of reminiscences that never happened. The book explores the very engrossing and also fascinating idea of hypnotism and the challenges of it in the hands of the wrong individual, and is an absolute must-read.

“By the Light of the Moon”
Dylan O’Conner is both an artist and the guardian of his autistic brother Shep. They take a trip around the country, selling Dylan’s art. Dylan has sacrificed plenty and it is prepared to sacrifice more to keep Shep out of a board and automobile facility. These character types live and breathe, and make you like them.
I would recomnend this book for all lovers of Dean Koontz or of the horror genre particularly if you like books to be scary but still manage to have a good, lighthearted feel to them.

“Strangers”
Just like Stephen King, Dean Koontz is a master story-teller. Strangers is a story of a group of people throughout the country who start going through strange activities that bring all of them to a common ground Fear.
The character types turn into real people in your head and whats happening to them an actual unexplainable horror. The closing to this book was outstanding and to me quite surprising. The only real problem anybody might have with this book is that it does lots of genre changing. If you basically want to take a seat and read a horror story, pick this one.

“Phantoms”
“Phantoms” is a excellent combination of sci-fi, horror, and also mystery. A doctor and her kid sister go back to the doctor’s mountain resort community to find everyone around missing. The concept is quite unique the mass disappearance of an entire city and walking through the place raises the hair on your head. The appearance of the figures, the weird pervading doom, it was all perfectly done. Just about all characters mentioned within the story possess a lot of depth and dynamicity, giving the readers a feeling of personally knowing each one. You can usually count on a happy closing with Koontz which I find refreshing. I like to end a book on a positive note.

“Sole Survivor “
The protagonist of “Sole Survivor” is Joe Carpenter, who’s still trying to relieve himself from his grief-stricken world 1 year after the tragic airplane accident that took the lives of everybody on board including his spouse and 2 kids. He feels he’s no reason to live, no intent to continue, and shows no energy to communicate with others. The characters are exciting and the story is fast-paced, without having to be corny, the pain of losing his entire family members in a airplane crash all at once was overwhelming.
The gripping closing and non-stop action left me at the edge of my seat until the finish when it left me asking science itself, once you begin reading Sole Survivor, you are absolutely hooked.

“Intensity “
Koontz provides his characters personalities. One of his characters, Chyna, grew up by a transient mom. Chyna never really had a house that she could call home. She and her mom were switching always from friends’ home to friends’ home. As a kid Chyna would scared easily and would hide from her mother or who ever scared her.
Chyna Shepherd stays twenty four hours running from a serial killer after seeing the murder of a number of his victims. I enjoy how smart and ingenious the key character Chyna was, she was not some dumb weak heroine. And also the killer, Edgler Vess, makes Hannibal Lector look like a toddler. I would suggest this book to any person who enjoys a good book with outstanding detail along with action and suspense. The unending amount of close calls and the surprising closing will leave you begging for more once you have finished. A really excellent book!

“Dark Rivers of the Heart”
The story starts with Spenser Grant, a thirtyish person who stops in at a poor bar to spend time with a lady who, though he is only known her just one day, has captured his heart. When the lady does not show up at work, he drives to the bungalo exactly where the lady lives, simply to find out an FBI Swat team moving in on the place, and Valerie gone.
The story was hard to forget, and I liked the way he used flashbacks to explain his chilling childhood nightmares, that truly happened. Dark Rivers of the Heart needs to be read by everybody, you will not regret or forget it.

“Lightning “
This is a intelligent story of time travel and romance, of the German scientist in WWII, who has, together with his comrades, perfected time travel as a way to see who will win the war. Through the story this person keeps saving this ladies life. She is always asking yourself who this person is, down to the day of her birth her is by her side. Though, he just appears when something goes completely wrong. Characters you feel for and a fascinating but not too complicated plot make this a book really worth reading more than once over the years. I am not a horror lover and this book isn’t the main horror genre. This book blends elements of sci-fi, time travel, historical aspects into a attractive love story.
Really recommend to anybody who loves a good story, not only Koontz lovers.

“From the Corner of His Eye”
There are lots of plots going on in this book, almost all which are connected with each other in the end. Not much can be said about it, without giving probably the most great parts of the book away. I focuses on an exceptional young man called Bartholomew. He was born a prodigy, yet loses his eyes to cancer at age 3. By the way, characterization is remarkably well done, all characters grow to be dear to you and also you wish to know what happens with them. Because of the various viewpoints, you get to ride on everyones ‘rollercoaster of life’.
Dean Koontz reaffirms together with his impressive prose that he is the master of this genre. I adored it. Koontz again kept many stories heading at once so the reader cannot wait to turn the pages. If you’d prefer to open your mind to possibilities and look for informative commentaries on life, while being delighted, then you definitely will like this book.

“Watchers”
This is undoubtedly best Dean Koontz novel. If you’re a fanatic of Dean Koontz you’ve probably heard about this book’s popularity. Many followers of Koontz claim that “Watchers” is his best book. The story centers around “Einstein” – a great, huggable golden retriever, who has fled the government-funded lab that created him. Through modified DNA, Einstein’s intelligence is comparable to Male’s. The story related to Travis, Nora and Einstein is likely to make anybody adore them. I am not the worlds biggest dog fan, but i came to adore that dog in the story and i couldn’t get enough of it. I experienced sad and pleased reading it, i even felt sad for The Outsider.
Character types, emotions and also activities are so freshly and realistic explained that in some chapters seem to pop out of the pages. Anyone who enjoys dogs and is also a sensitive soul will value the underlying ideas in this book. Hard to put down, so be sure you have sufficient time to devote to the intricate characters in this book.
