Yet, in my experience the top performance is provided by Denzel Washington. His character is the one that shows probably the most growth over the 2 hour film. Execellent Film, Denzel at all times gives a excellent performance from begin to end. This time he pairs up with Russell Crowe and also the outcome is awesome. American Gangster is, undeniably, a great film. I was not bored but found one or two annoying things about it. I got what I wanted though, two solid performances and a great storyline.
